Nathan is a patent attorney and counselor.  With more than 20 years of experience working with innovators in the biomedical industry, Nathan has developed a deep expertise in evaluating intellectual property positions implementing comprehensive protection strategies.

Since 2018, Nathan has served as the founder of Acuity IP, a patent firm specializing in the biomedical arts.  Prior to founding Acuity IP, Nathan worked as a patent attorney at Townsend and Townsend and Crew as well as Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton.

Nathan is a member of the State Bar of Colorado, and is admitted to practice before the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office.  Nathan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver College of Law.
